I have started knitting cogs and finding different ways of joining them together. I am really enjoying making these and am pleased with the results so far, even if they do take ages to knit!

Final project

The theme for my final project is going to be Join, Fasten, Attatch. I am going to study all different types of joints and fastenings with a view to creating knitted womenswear garments.

Hi, my name is Sophie and I am currently in my third year of a Textile design degree at The University of Derby, specialising in knit. I have started this Blog to keep a record of my final project and the work that I do leading up to my degree show. To see work from the rest of my degree click here.
